INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

When installing marble, stone, or granite flooring and wall coverings, it is essential to proceed with great care. The process is delicate, and if done incorrectly, it can compromise the final result.

– For indoor flooring, we recommend using adhesive installation rather than sand and cement.

– For outdoor flooring, adhesive installation is also recommended. Sand and cement installation may be used but only with certain colors.

Recommended adhesives:

Keraflex or Granirapid by Mapei; H40 Flex or H40 Mamorex by Kerakoll.

Note: If the chosen material has a resin-coated underside, a two-component adhesive must be used, such as Superflex by Kerakoll or Keralastic by Mapei.

INSTALLATION AND GROUTING

During installation, we recommend using cross spacers to achieve joints of 2–3 mm. For grouting, we suggest using Keracolor or Ultracolor by Mapei.

For outdoor flooring, several solutions can be considered:

• Adhesive installation, using S2-classified adhesives according to EN 12002 standards, such as Mapei Elastorapid or Keraquick + Latex Plus, or Ardec X77 + E90.
• Sand and cement installation.
• Dry installation on bedding sand (only suitable for pedestrian use).
• “Floating” installation, using specific supports; this method is suitable only for certain types and formats (also limited to pedestrian use).

For grouting joints, which should be wider than 3 mm, we recommend using Ultracolor Plus by Mapei.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

It is important to use non-aggressive cleaning products. Avoid acid-based or limescale removers. For regular cleaning, we recommend water, neutral detergents, or liquid wax.
